My name is Lucian Slatineanu (here’s the Romanian and English pronunciation) and Emblematiq is my design studio. I am an independent, Chicago based, creative engineer delivering award winning design solutions and outstanding interactive experiences to clients all over the world since 1999.
Born and raised in Romania, now a 30-year-old husband and father, I have been living in the greater Chicago area and working as an independent designer since 2005. I have started my design career back in 1999, working my way up from freelancer to Senior Designer for one of the largest branding and interactive agencies in Eastern Europe – Grapefruit.
As an independent consultant, within the last 8 years I have worked with clients from all over the world, more than 100 in total, spanning over 15 countries and 4 continents, from big multinational corporations and Fortune 500 companies to small, one-person start-ups.
Often recognized as one of the top interactive designers worldwide, I am currently pursuing an independent career, always on the lookout for new and exciting design challenges.
